Gardening Checklist

Water your container plants properly. The root ball should be thoroughly soaked. You can either dunk them into a bucket or run water very slowly with a hose. Fill up the container several times and allow it to soak thorough.
Try portulaca, lantana, bush germander and rockrose for plants that love the heat and whose blooms beautify your garden.
There is still time for another crop of beans, corn and radishes.
Before transplanting any bedding plants, prepare the soil, clean out any dead or diseased plant material and water the bed lightly a day or two before putting out the plants.
