Gardening Checklist

“Deadhead” all spent blossoms on annual flowers to promote continual blooms throughout the summer. Feed with a good flower food monthly to keep plants healthy and flower production high.
Feed plants. Almost all plants appreciate a boost of nitrogen now. Feed fruit and ornamental trees, shrubs, lawns, houseplants, ground covers and perennials.
Fertilize fuchsias and tuberous begonias with fish emulsion.
Before applying any chemical or fertilizer always read the directions thoroughly. It’s the best way to avoid unsatisfactory results.
Install drip irrigation systems in your garden to help cut back on water usage. Call us if you need help with your irrigation system.
