Rollin L. Haas, Owner and President

Rollin has been in the green industry since 1964 and has enjoyed working in many sectors of the horticulture industry. After completing his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Horticulture and Agriculture, he worked 9 years in the wholesale nursery industry, garnering vast knowledge of plant material which he utilizes everyday to create beautiful, sustainable landscape masterpieces for his clients. Rollin taught horticulture for 8 years at Hartnell, Monterey Peninsula College and local high schools. In 1985 Rollin started Master Landscapes, Inc. to fulfill demands for landscape design, construction and maintenance at the request of clients’ who had desires and dreams for beautiful landscapes. The rest is history!

Jennifer Dildine, Landscape Designer

Jennifer, an accomplished landscape designer, was hired by Master Landscapes, Inc. in June 2008. She has been in the green industry for 8 years and her role is to serve as a landscape designer and estimator. Jennifer holds two degrees, one in Environmental Education and a second degree in Landscape Horticulture. Jennifer is working on furthering her education in Landscape Architecture through UC Berkeley. She is also an instructor for local ‘Green Gardening Programs.’ Her specialty is designing beautiful sustainable gardens that provide extraordinary outdoor living spaces for her clients.

Mark Cohan, Controller/Office Manager

Mark came to us the prior co-owner of his own bookkeeping firm, and with experience in the position of controller at several prior companies. His vast business background includes not only managing the numbers; job costing, budgeting and forecasting, but also quality control, customer service, business development, sales, marketing and relationship management.

Jose Coria, Admin Assistant /Customer Service Coordinator

Jose manages our customer service extraordinarily well. He came to us as a recent graduate from UCLA with a degree in biology. His work experience includes managing data systems, and computer labs, which has been perfect for managing customer information files, schedules, and data systems of our network. He is often that first friendly voice you hear when you call Master Landscapes.

Temo Becerra, Installation Supervisor

Temo has been with Master Landscapes since June of 2003. He has taken on more and more responsibilities while he’s been with us and has learned much of his trade on the job. He also participates in CLCA (California Landscape Contractor’s Assoc.) conferences, seminars, industry training classes, and now he trains our installation crews in irrigation, landscape installation, stone work, woodworking, and more. Irrigation trouble shooting and repair are one of his fortes. When the project is an installation project, Temo is Rollin’s right hand man and our clients love him!
